We are pleased to be able to offer musical instrument tuition to pupils. Therefore if you would like to sign your child up, please read the terms and conditions, including costs, below and complete the form.
Musical Instrument Lesson Booking Form
Instrumental tuition is provided by external teachers. The service is bought in by the school and therefore must be paid for within the 30 days of the charge appearing on your ParentPay, at the start of each term. If a tutor misses a lesson then this will be made up at a later date or a credit will be given in the following term. Lessons take place during school hours.
The cost of lessons, per pupil, is £17.50 for individual lessons & £8.75 per pupil for group lessons (of 2 or 3 pupils) PER LESSON, PER WEEK.
Please note that in order for a student to have a group lesson there must be another student/s who also wants group lessons otherwise a lesson of half the length will be given individually. Lessons will take place between 10am and 2pm each day and so may be during another lesson, at break or at lunch time.
Lessons are available for the following instruments:
Trumpet, Cornet, Trombone, French Horn, Violin, Viola, Cello, Keyboard, Piano, Drums, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Acoustic guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar
Pupils must have their own instrument. Hire of a very small number of instruments can sometimes be arranged through Severn Arts. Please contact Mrs Best, via Epraise, if you like to enquire about this.
Music lessons will be charged for at the start of the term, for the whole term and are payable within 30 days.
Lessons continue from term to term and from school year to school year. If you wish to cancel lessons then this must be done a FULL half term in advance.
Every effort must be made by the student to inform a tutor if they cannot attend a lesson.
When you submit this form, it will not automatically collect your details like name and email address unless you provide it yourself.
