Admissions Consultation 2027-28

Admissions Consultation 2027-28

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring transparency and strong collaboration within the Birmingham Diocese for Education, I am writing to share information regarding the upcoming admissions consultation for St Bede’s Catholic Middle School.

The purpose of this consultation is to:

  • Present the proposed admissions arrangements for the 2027-2028 academic year.
  • Ensure that our approach reflects both diocesan guidance and statutory requirements.
  • Invite feedback from our valued stakeholders so that we continue to act in the best interests of our children, families, and wider parish community.
  • Meet our legal requirement to consult every seven years.

At St Bede’s, our mission is firmly rooted in the Gospel values, seeking to provide a high-quality education that nurtures every child academically, spiritually, and socially. We believe it is important that our admissions policy upholds these principles while remaining fair, inclusive, and aligned with diocesan expectations.

Thank you in advance for your time and contribution. Should you have any questions, wish to give feedback or require further information, please contact the clerk to the governors scosgriff@stb.magnificat.org.uk by Thursday 13th November at the latest.
