Uniform

At St Bede’s Catholic Middle School pupils wear their uniform with pride.

Pupils are expected to maintain high standards of uniform, both in school and in the community, when travelling to and from school.

We welcome the support of parents in this matter.

We follow the guidance set out below.

The guidance is issued under the Education (Guidance about Costs of School Uniforms) Act 2021. This Act requires the appropriate authorities of relevant schools to have regard to this guidance when developing and implementing the school’s uniform policy.

This means that unbranded uniform is entirely acceptable.

There is the expectation that the pupils wear a school tie and have a school badge on their blue blazer.
